Most Men Notice Aging All at Once
Men's skin is 25% thicker than women's. That sounds like an advantage. It isn't. Thicker skin delays the visible signs of aging — until collagen drops. And when it drops, it drops hard: heavier eye bags, deeper wrinkles, dark spots, loss of firmness. All at once. Most men were never taught to get ahead of it. That's where Particle Face Cream comes in. A 6-in-1 formula engineered specifically for men's skin — reduces eye bags, dark spots, and wrinkles, restores firmness, hydrates deeply, revives dull tone. Two minutes a day. No complicated routine. Over 1,000,000 men already use it. Try it risk-free with a 30-day money-back guarantee. 20% off with code BH20.

New Tropical Sip Café Coming to Downtown Tacoma

A new all-day café is getting ready to open in downtown Tacoma. Tropical Sip Café is scheduled to open Sept. 4 at 901 Pacific Ave., Suite B, with a menu built to cover much of the day — including coffee, tea, breakfast, lunch, smoothies and smoothie bowls.
Later in the day, the concept shifts toward cocktails, including daiquiris to-go, giving the new spot a different angle from a typical downtown coffee shop. The goal is to serve downtown workers and visitors from morning through the evening rather than focusing on a single meal period.

Missed the Free Port Tours? Here’s Another Way to Get on the Water
Missed your chance to grab one of the Port of Tacoma's free boat-tour reservations? There's another way to see Tacoma's working waterfront from the water — and it's a much more intimate experience. Communities for a Healthy Bay lets members of the public request a spot on one of its South Sound Patrols, with groups generally limited to no more than five guests accompanied by one or two CHB staff members.
These aren't just sightseeing cruises. Participants get an up-close look at Commencement Bay while learning how CHB monitors pollution and protects local waterways and habitat. You can even tell the organization what you're interested in seeing — such as cargo ships, seals, the Narrows Bridge or Puyallup Tribal lands. Patrols are scheduled on weekdays based on availability, and requests can be submitted online.

Soundview Falls 5-0, Faces Elimination Game Tuesday

Tacoma’s Soundview Little League suffered its first loss of the Little League World Series Sunday, falling 5-0 to Paseo Verde Little League of Henderson, Nevada. The game was scoreless through four innings before Nevada broke through with five runs in the bottom of the fifth. Soundview was held to two hits after entering the game with victories over Alabama and Texas.
The good news: Tacoma’s World Series run isn’t over. Soundview moves into the elimination bracket and will play again Tuesday, Aug. 25 at noon Pacific on ESPN against the winner of Monday’s Alabama-Pennsylvania matchup. From here on out, the stakes are simple — win and Soundview keeps playing; lose and its memorable run in Williamsport comes to an end.
