Most Men Notice Aging All at Once
Men's skin is 25% thicker than women's. That sounds like an advantage. It isn't. Thicker skin delays the visible signs of aging — until collagen drops. And when it drops, it drops hard: heavier eye bags, deeper wrinkles, dark spots, loss of firmness. All at once. Most men were never taught to get ahead of it. That's where Particle Face Cream comes in. A 6-in-1 formula engineered specifically for men's skin — reduces eye bags, dark spots, and wrinkles, restores firmness, hydrates deeply, revives dull tone. Two minutes a day. No complicated routine. Over 1,000,000 men already use it. Try it risk-free with a 30-day money-back guarantee. 20% off with code BH20.

Nine Days of Good Vibes

If McMenamins Elks Temple seems to play a suspicious amount of Grateful Dead, there is a reason: they are self proclaimed Dead Heads.
McMenamins’ Days Between celebration returns August 1–9, marking nine days of Jerry Garcia music, food and drink specials, Passport stamps, live music, playlists, and general good vibes. The annual celebration honors the life, music, and legacy of Garcia, whose birthday was August 1 and who died August 9 — the “days between” that fans have long treated as a time to remember and celebrate.
At Tacoma’s Elks Temple, that means one more excuse to wander the historic building, grab something special from the menu, listen for a little Dead on the speakers, and enjoy the kind of laid-back McMenamins weirdness that makes the place feel like its own little world. Whether you have followed the Dead for decades or just want a grilled cheese, an IPA, and a reason to hang out downtown, this is a very Tacoma-friendly way to spend part of the week.

Reusable Stuff Wanted. Today!

Tacoma residents clearing out usable household items have another option besides sending them to the landfill.
The City of Tacoma’s Beyond the Bin program is hosting a free community donation event today, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Tacoma Recovery & Transfer Center, 3510 S. Mullen St. This week’s event is with Second Use, giving residents a place to donate reusable items so they can be repurposed, redistributed, or put back into use instead of thrown away.
The program is part of Tacoma’s broader effort to reduce waste by encouraging reuse, repair, repurposing, and sharing. Events are held on Fridays from April through September, and collections may end early if the truck fills up. The city encourages residents to register before coming to help manage capacity.

New Speed Cameras Coming

Location of new speed cameras.
A dangerous Northeast Tacoma intersection is getting new speed cameras this fall.
The City of Tacoma says two cameras will begin monitoring drivers on September 14 at Marine View Drive and Norpoint Way Northeast. One camera will point southbound on Marine View Drive, also known as SR-509, while the other will point uphill on Norpoint Way. Drivers caught speeding will receive warnings during the first month before citations begin arriving by mail.
The area has seen hundreds of crashes over the years, and the Norpoint Way intersection recorded almost four dozen crashes last year alone. Tacoma plans to add more speed cameras in the coming months, including locations on South Sprague Avenue, Pacific Avenue, and Portland Avenue, as part of a broader automated enforcement expansion.
