Tacoma Art Museum’s upcoming exhibition Internet Speed will bring together five regional artists to explore how technology influences everyday life. The show is scheduled to run Nov. 21, 2026, through May 30, 2027, at the museum on Pacific Avenue.
The artists are Christopher Lee Hill, Chloe King, Henry Jackson-Spieker, Tariqa Waters and Anthony White. Tacoma Art Museum organized the exhibition, which is curated by Victoria Miles as part of The Current, the museum’s artist award program.
The exhibition’s themes include nostalgia, personal identity, futurism, time and space. The museum describes the works as layered and asks visitors to take a closer look, giving the show room to consider how digital life can shape the way people understand themselves and the world around them.
An opening celebration is scheduled for Nov. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. The first hour is a VIP reception for members and invited guests; from 7 to 8 p.m., artists and the curator will be in the galleries. That portion is included with standard museum admission and does not require registration. The museum is at 1701 Pacific Avenue.
