Foss Waterway Seaport - Tacoma Local Minute

A waterfront evening of cider, local food and live music is coming to Foss Waterway Seaport on Saturday, Nov. 14. Called Ciders & Sails, the fundraiser runs from 3 to 6 p.m. at the museum on Dock Street. The Seaport says proceeds will support its historic venue, community programs and maritime education.

General admission includes eight 3-ounce pours from Pacific Northwest cideries, light bites, live entertainment and access to the museum. The lineup of musicians is still to come, according to the event details.

There’s also a designated-driver ticket, which includes nonalcoholic beverages, light bites, live entertainment and museum admission. General admission is listed at $38.68, and designated-driver tickets are $27.63, with tax included. The event is limited to guests 21 and older, who must bring valid ID.

The Seaport’s regular museum admission is free, but Ciders & Sails offers a different way to experience the waterfront landmark while supporting its work. The evening pairs a tasting with a visit to a building that tells the story of Tacoma’s maritime past—and helps fund the programs carrying that story forward.
