Potato Corner - Tacoma Local Minute

Potato Corner has opened in Tacoma Mall’s dining pavilion. In her recent News Tribune report, Debbie Cockrell described the new food-court spot and its menu of flavored fries.

Customers can choose straight-cut or curly fries, tater tots or sweet potato fries, then add seasonings such as barbecue, cheese, sour cream, chili barbecue or garlic Parmesan. The mix-and-match menu gives the familiar food-court snack plenty of combinations.

The portion names offer a clue to how ordering works: Jumbo is the smallest and comes with one potato style; Tera is the largest and can include three flavors. The menu also lists kids’ meals, chicken tenders, wings and poppers.

Desserts were marked “coming soon” when Cockrell reported on the opening. Her full News Tribune story has more menu details and a look at other businesses joining Tacoma Mall’s dining lineup. Read it here.
