Tacoma’s long-running beer festival is getting a Halloween makeover. Boo Five Three, presented by Tacoma Arts Live, is set for Friday, October 23, at the Tacoma Armory.
The festival was previously known as Brew Five Three. This year, it moves into the Halloween season, with regional breweries pouring on the Armory’s parade floor and food trucks stationed outside.
The organizer’s current lineup includes 7 Seas Brewing, Bale Breaker, Narrows Brewing, Odd Otter and others, with more breweries expected to be added. Attendees can also check out a brewery booth decorating contest and enter a costume contest with prizes.
General admission runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Early-entry tickets start at 5:30. Both include a souvenir glass and eight drink tokens; the first 800 people through the door get the special 2026 commemorative glass. Designated-driver tickets include complimentary nonalcoholic drinks, with no alcohol service or consumption permitted.
Boo Five Three is for guests 21 and older, who must bring valid ID. It takes place at the Tacoma Armory, 1001 Yakima Ave. The full brewery lineup and ticket details are on the Tacoma Arts Live event page.
