The Tacoma Armory will host 120 local artists and makers for a free, two-day market on Nov. 14 and 15. Arts at the Armory runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, returning to the historic venue for its sixth year.
The market includes a broad mix of work, from fine art and handmade goods to ceramics, fiber and jewelry. Visitors can browse and shop, meet the artists, and hear about the processes behind their work. The City describes the event as an indoor market presented in partnership with Tacoma Arts Live.
Food vendors will be on site with meals, snacks and drinks, including vegetarian options. The event welcomes all ages and is stroller-friendly. Most vendors take cards or mobile payment, though some may accept cash only; an ATM is planned for the venue.
The Armory market is part of a year marking the 25th anniversary of Tacoma Arts Month, which celebrates arts, culture, heritage and science across the city. Street parking nearby includes both free and paid spaces, and the organizer notes that accessible drop-off at the main entrance is limited.
